Fuel Planner – Privacy Policy

1. Overview

Fuel Planner (“the App”) is an offline flight-fuel optimisation tool created and owned by Kevin Kraft (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We respect your privacy and designed the App to work entirely on your device without collecting personal data.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

Fuel Planner does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal identifiers (name, email, Apple ID, IP address)
• Location data (GPS, Wi-Fi, or cell)
• Usage analytics or diagnostics
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Contacts, photos, calendars, health data, or other sensitive information

3. Data Processed On-Device

The App allows you to enter trip details such as airport identifiers, fuel prices, reserves, and weight-penalty settings. These values are processed locally to generate fuel-buy recommendations and are saved only in Apple’s sandboxed UserDefaults database on your device. We have no access to that data.

4. iCloud, Networking, and Third-Party Services

Fuel Planner does not use iCloud, cloud sync, or external servers. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or social-media integrations.

5. Sharing and Export

If you choose to export a trip file or share text via the iOS Share Sheet, that content is handed off to the destination app or service you select (e.g., Mail, Messages, AirDrop). Once shared, handling of the file is governed by the privacy policies of those services.

6. Support Communications

When you email us at apps@kevinkraft.com, we receive the information you choose to provide (e.g., your email address and message). We use those details solely to respond to your query and retain them only as long as needed for customer-support purposes.

7. Legal Bases (GDPR)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, we process your data only when you voluntarily email us (Art. 6 (1)(b): contract or pre-contractual measures). No automated decision-making or profiling occurs.

8. Children’s Privacy

Fuel Planner is intended for professional pilots and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

9. Your Rights and Choices

Because the App collects no personal data, there is nothing for you to request, correct, export, or delete within the App itself. If you have emailed us and wish to have those emails erased, contact us at the support address above.

10. Security

All data entered into Fuel Planner remains on-device within Apple’s sandbox environment. We rely on Apple’s built-in operating-system security features (file-system encryption, code signing, and App Sandbox) to protect local data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new app features or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and post the new version at the same URL. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
